My path to upcycling began with a precious loss: that of my father-in-law, whose many fine suits spoke of an era and rare craftsmanship. These pieces, steeped in history and value, deserved more than just being put away or forgotten.
Transforming these garments has become an intimate tribute for me, a way to preserve their timeless elegance while breathing new life into them, modern and refined life. Upcycling is not only an ecological gesture, ti's an emotional process, a bridge between past and present.
Each GilsonVCouture creation is thus a subtle balance between respect for noble materials and contemporary creativity, a discrete ode to memory and the art of sewing.
